Is the law of attraction real? Does the Bible say anything about it? In this video, Bryan Osborne gives us his perspective on this popular ideology as a Bible-believing Christian.

“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.”
II Peter 2:1
Sounds like a false prophecy.
@ClementGreen how so?
““You shall have no other gods before Me.”
Exodus 20:3
Amen ❤
The problem with deception is that people don’t know they are being deceived
Exactly!
There can be many truths in Lies
There are no lies in Truth.
there is a Truth that there are positive effects and consequences of meditating on God’s Word. God says to make our requests known to Him (He knows them, He wants us to talk to Him about them) … _with_ praise and thanksgiving.
God’s Word says in Matthew chapter 6:
“31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. “
That is where the, Holy Spirit, comes in. We have to constantly be in His Word to understand Biblical truth. And to rely on His understanding. To grow in wisdom and discernment.
And Christians seem to be the hardest to convince. The 2 Christian ppl I know who believe in the law if attraction, also believe that the bible has been so altered that we can’t trust it anymore……..
@Timbershakka if that’s what they believe, I wouldn’t consider them Christians, regardless of how they self-identify. Only those who follow Christ are Christians, and if they don’t trust the Bible (which is God’s Word), they don’t trust Christ (who is the Word made flesh).
I’ve heard someone preach “What you focus on develops in your life.” Before, I don’t remember if it was what they said or my own interpretation, but I took it as meaning, how your spending your time and effort, not really just meditation silently in what you want. Hmm.
Such a good message. Thank you!
Hebrews 13:5 He says ” keep your life free from Love of money and be content with what you have. For he said ” I will never leave you or forsake you”,
Yes! We are told not to love the things of this world. The Lord brings blessing and the Lord brings disaster. We don’t have a puppet for a God who exists just to please us.
Better is the little of the righteous than the abundance of many who are wicked.
Thank you AIG for speaking the truth of God’s word.

Set and work hard towards your goals, always do your very best, treat people well and focus on the good.
Projecting your dreams on the couch gets you nothing.
It takes a true biblical principal and twists it into selfish gain. God does tell us to pray and believe you have received – but it also says to pray according to Gods will. It is a true thing that what we focus on does in fact manifest in our life – good things – bad things – illnesses etc. our thoughts DO matter. But as Christ followers God says for us to focus those thoughts on him – on the kingdom and on the work he has for us to do. He WILL provide and he WILL take care of us. We can believe that and we can believe and trust ALL his promises. It’s no secret – god has made it known that out of the mouth – the heart speaks and for as a man thinketh – so is he. Our thoughts DO matter and we called to think upon things that are good and righteous and pure and of the kingdom! Trust and believe in God and in his Devine will for our lives. Not for cars and houses and things that rot
Amen, thank God for folks who are not afraid to speak out against the countless false prophets and teachings rampant in the world.
