Absolutely Right brother but our education system are only Want Good Marks
There will be opposition from religious groups which are foreign in india… I have many friends who feel disgusted to chant aum while doing yoga they think it’s related to Hindu culture, we have lost our gurukul system of teaching which was the best for education… When we organise a meditation program in our area only a specific community people join and others do not, that’s the mindset of people…
@LITTU I agree…Even my Yog teacher advises me to chant “hmmm” instead of “aum” as she believes its hinduism

Slowly, when you will understand how it works, it can only be experienced
There are tons of resources/comnunities online where you can learn for more advanced techniques later on, eg Reddit has amazing subreddits on meditation

I want to learn that very eagerly but I’m not able to contact iskon as it is lockdown nor able to find reliable sources or videos
@Hashmitha S just sit down with the cross legs and with the good posture in the quite place then start chanting of god for (eg- Gayatri mantra or aum chanting) at starting you will very much distracted but with the 1 month of practice every day, you can calm your mind easily and your focus span will increase drastically.
You have to focus and chant Hare Krishna maha mantra

You can start by chanting this mantra 108 times in front of the altar.
This is the recommended method in this day and age according to Vedic scriptures.

2. Try chanting after bath it calms the

3. If something comes up and don’t bother about it and think that whatever is coming to mind is all the possession of God and come back to your focus on the Mantra

This has simplified the process of meditation nicely. And about being in the present is one thing that so many people including myself are finding quite difficult. Even now when I was watching the video and was trying to be in the moment but when Guruji shared about having meal by himself, I was kind of went into imagination and doing the same thing but then I realised that right now I am watching video not having meal.

Takeaways -This is precious and could be life changing experience if we actually start doing everything by complete involvement and focus. This way we are training and building our mind to do everything without any resistance or diversions. Gradually, It goes smooth for us when we do meditation bcos we have program our mind to do everything while being surrender to it or in it . This is one of my favourite video and I had light π‘ moment after watching it
