How long should you meditate each time?
When you’re first starting to meditate the most important thing is to do it on a regular basis (daily or almost daily). Five, or even three minutes a day is a great way to start. Then if you’re comfortable meditating for that length of time, you could try 10 minutes, or increase it by a minute at a time. Most people who meditate on a regular basis do it about 10-20 minutes a day (10 is probably more common than 20), most days of the week.
